| Tina Wharton has served at Northside since 1999. She leads a fantastic team of volunteers who serve the ministry with servant hearts. She has always had a passion for teaching children God's Word and brings much hands-on experience. She finds it an honor and pleasure to serve God through the children and families at Northside. She and her husband, Greg, have four young adult children, Christian, Lauren, Rachel & Tyler.

The Children’s Ministry seeks to provide opportunities for children to focus on others instead of self. We believe molding the faith of children is of vital importance to God’s church. We have classes for all ages from newborn to 5th grade. Our curriculum, "Faith Weaver," helps students walk chronologically through the Bible. As the children are learning fun and exciting Bible stories the teaching teams are molding the children in Christ-like behaviors.
Our Ministry Team is committed to teaching God’s Word to the max! We have created a nurturing, safe, and child friendly environment where your child will feel God’s love. Please allow our dedicated team to assist you in any way we can. Never hesitate to call with any questions you may have. We pray that as our children grow they will learn the truth and take Jesus into their hearts.
We offer activities such as Vacation Bible School, Adolescence Classes, Summer Camps, Leadership Training for Christ, Nursing Home Visits, Father/Daughter Dinner . . . Just to Name a Few.
