The Northside Church of Christ is a family of families made up of all kinds of people of all different ages. There are young families, middle age families, and older families. There are families with children, families without children, and families that are blended. There are young singles, older singles, and single parents. Put all these styles and stages together and you have the Northside Church of Christ.

| Bruce has served at the Northside Church of Christ since 1982. Before coming to San Antonio, he served as Campus Minister and taught at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. He holds a Bachelor of Science, Master of Divinity, and Doctor of Ministry degrees, all from Abilene Christian University. He is a member of the Christian Education Association, and the American Association of Christian Counselors. He and his wife, Sharon, have two adult children, Clay and Erin.

We at Northside are committed to serving families of all types all across the life cycle. We offer classes for young couples starting out in marriage. We provide assistance for new parents adjusting to the demands of a child. We teach classes on parenting teenagers and raising Christian kids. We support marriages through special classes, seminars, and retreats. Through the gospel we seek to help and support all those facing the family problems prevalent in our culture today.
In our service to families we are committed to addressing the spiritual dimension. Though we strive to teach and enrich, we know that the solution to problems does not lie in a new technique or the latest book, but in a committed heart. Our belief is that relationship with God is the most critical element in positive change. In our families, we point not to ourselves but to Him.
