Ciudad de Ángeles provides a safe and healthy environment based on Christian principles for orphaned, abandoned, abused and needy children living in Mexico. The home raises children to become Christian adults who are responsible citizens in their local communities.
Every January and June, Northside sends a team of missionaries to the Island of Cozumel. In January, the team’s primary goal is construction. While on this mission trip, the team aims to further Ciudad de Ángeles’ building needs; new construction, demolition, renovations and landscaping.
In June, the focus is building relationships with the children of Ciudad and the community of Cozumel. We enjoy fellowship, games, study, and meals with the “Angels” throughout the week. We then celebrate Jesus in the community of Cozumel by hosting a carnival. This carnival gives us the opportunity to share the word of God with our neighbors and be part of this amazing community for an evening.
Walking through the streets, meeting new people, reuniting with old friends from past trips to the island and hosting the Carnival are just a few of the ways we show and share the love of Jesus.
