October 17, 2021 | Jack Reese

When we think about church, we often think about the building and the worship, the programs and the events, the things we like and the things we don’t. We can easily become religious consumers: I’d like a little more of this ministry but a lot less of that one, picking and choosing our church experiences like we were shopping for groceries. But what if church was something else? What if we saw ourselves no longer as consumers but as a band of travelers on a journey, sent by God on a mission to the world. Would it make a difference? Would we be a different sort of Christian? Would Northside be a different sort of church? Watch our service from Sunday, October 17, with a special message from Jack Reese, entitled, “Caravan of Welcome: Becoming a Missional Church,” as we explore these questions together.
