Who We Are

The youth ministry program at Northside Church of Christ invites you on a journey to discover the path of discipleship. As people who are being transformed by Jesus, we seek to answer three of life’s big questions.

Who Am I?

We believe that the God who created the universe reveals himself to us through scripture. By studying scripture we learn about who God is and who he has made us to be: His children Our relationship with God changes the way we look at ourselves and the world, becoming a filter for how we look at everything

Where Do I Belong?

We believe the life-changing message of the gospel is for everyone, and even though we may be different in every possible way, we can come together united by just one thing: Jesus Christ. We believe we were not created to live life alone. As children of God, we are called to live in the family of God. There is a spot for everyone at the table.

What Am I Supposed To Do?

We believe that we are all called to be Christ’s ambassadors sent into the world to make a difference in the lives of others for the kingdom. We are intentional with our actions to engage with the world around us serving and loving everyone we come in contact with.

Jenni Jones : Youth Minister

Jenni Jones

Youth Minister

Jenni originally attended college to pursue a career in Public Relations, but over the years a passion for Youth Ministry grew. Coming to the realization that those skills in communication were tailor fit to ministering to and reaching teens of this generation, Jenni applied her studies, passions, and talents at Capitol Hill Church of Christ and Memorial Road Church of Christ in Oklahoma City.  Finalizing her studies at Oklahoma Christian University(OC) Jenni was awarded two degrees in both Public Relations and Vocational Ministry.  Jenni fulfills a long candidate search and vetting process conducted by the parents and Youth of Northside to find a Youth Minister, and in August of 2019 Jenni chose to begin her journey with us. "I am thrilled to be a member of this church family and I cannot wait to see what God has in store for this youth ministry." Jenni has a heart for connecting with students and leading them towards Christ and we are excited everyday to partner with her.
