Pointing to Jesus … Traveling Together

We are a church, a part of God’s world-wide family, trying to live as Jesus taught us, caring for each other and helping a hurting world. We share our many joys and our pain, and we invite you to join us as we follow Jesus together.

A Place to Live Well

Jesus said, “I have come so that you can have life and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)

We believe that our best life is found in Jesus. We seek Him in all that we do and live as He showed us how to live, as it is revealed in God’s Word.

A Family Place

The Church is “God’s family.” (I Timothy 3:15)

Our Shepherds lead the way, caring for us and helping us learn to care for each other. We look to the special needs of our members, loving and serving our children, youth, and seniors, and provide special activities and individual programs for our men and women, such as Men’s Bible Study, and Ladies’ Bible Class.

A Caring Place

Carry one another’s burdens. (Galatians 6:2)

There is a lot of hurt in this world. We help with marriage and family counseling, crisis and disaster relief, Fisher House meals, feeding the hungry, and we welcome those with special needs.

A Place to Grow Spiritually

God says we should “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” (II Peter 3:18)

We believe walking close to Jesus means living a better life. We help each other grow spiritually through joyous and meaningful worship services, numerous small groups in different locations, and various settings for Bible studies and life issues.

A Place to Serve

The Bible tells us “as we have opportunity, let’s do good to all people.” (Galatians 6:10)

We believe that service is a joy and not a burden. Our abundant and diverse ministries offer an almost unlimited number of ways to put our gifts and talents to good use, helping each other, helping those throughout the greater San Antonio community, and making an impact around the world.

We would love to hear from you. If you have a question, comment, or prayer request, please let us know.
